Child Care Resources and Referrals

Child and Family services 4C offers free child care resources and referrals to families seeking child care in Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Crawford, Iosco, Montmorency, Oscoda, Otsego, and Presque Isle counties. 4C consultants inform parents about the types of childcare available, supply them with a list of child care providers who may best meet their family needs, and distribute guidelines for choosing quality care.  We also provide financial assistance information and parent education materials.  Parents may obtain child care referrals and information in person, by phone, or online. 

 

All providers we refer are licensed or registered with the State of Michigan.  These are referrals only, not recommendations.  We do not license or inspect child care providers.  We cannot guarantee that every provider in our database provides quality care.  It is your responsibility to screen, visit, interview, and choose a child care provider that best meets the needs of your child and your family.
